I am a qualified Orthodontic Therapist, currently working full-time at New Cross Hospital, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. I thoroughly enjoy my Therapist role which involves caring for routine and complex MDT orthodontic patients within secondary care, under consultant supervision. In my initial years, I qualified in nursing at Birmingham Dental Hospital with a combined Hospital / National Qualification. I then continued with roles in General Dental Practice and the Community Dental Service for Dudley and eventually gained further qualifications in Oral Heath, Radiography, Sedation and finally Orthodontic Nursing. In 2012, I started my course in Orthodontic Therapy from Warwick and was proud to achieve my Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy in 2013. I have always been actively involved in departmental clinical governance, ad-hoc teaching, service initiatives and CPD, and have always believed in life-long learning.
